日本語学習中のみなさん、こんにちは。The Trilingual ChatboxのMaiです。今回は「最近よく聴いているポッドキャスト番組」についてお話ししたいと思います。初めに日本語で話しその後に同じことを英語で話します。では、始めて行きましょう！
私が紹介したい最近よく聴いているポッドキャストは「ゆる言語学ラジオ」という日本語のポッドキャストです。このポッドキャスト番組では、２人の男性パーソナリティーの方が言語全般について楽しい会話を繰り広げ¹られています。
言語全般ということで、日本語の文法や英語の語源、世界のことわざ²、赤ちゃんの言語習得など幅広いテーマについて話されています。それぞれのタイトルをみると一見³難しそうなのですが、おふたりがためになる話の合間合間にする脱線した⁴話が面白く、ついつい聴いてしまいます。
おふたりは様々な知識が豊富で、難しいことだけではなくてお笑い⁵や漫画、エンターテイメントまでも本筋⁶に絡めながら話されるところがこのポッドキャストの強み⁷ではないかと思います。正直、「この回が面白い！」というおすすめの回があるわけではなく、毎回違うテーマもおふたりにかかると同じような味付けですべて面白くなる、といった感じです。
私たちのポッドキャストを聴いてくださっている方は言語に興味がある方ばかりだと思うので、きっと楽しめるはずです。ただ、おふたりとも難しい言葉を使われることが多々あるので、日本語学習中の方にとっては少し難しいかもしれません。音声だけでは難しい方は、彼らのYouTubeチャンネルで同じ話が映像で見られるので、日本語のキャプションをつけて見ると理解し易いかもしれません。
今回は、私が良く聴いているポッドキャストを紹介してみました。みなさんは、どんなポッドキャストを聴いていますか。
One of the Japanese podcasts I often listen to these days and would like to introduce to you is called “ゆる言語学ラジオ(yurugengogaku rajio)” On that podcast, two male podcast hosts have a fun conversation regarding language in general.
That being said, they discuss a wide range of topics such as Japanese grammar, the origins of English words, sayings from around the world, babies` language acquisition, and so on. Each title seems quite difficult at a glance, but they often get off track between beneficial talks and these derailed conversations are so amusing that I always end up listening to them.
Both of them have a wide variety of knowledge so they can talk about not only difficult things but also comedies, comic books, and entertainment, which are somewhat related to the main topic. I think that is an advantage of them and their podcast.
To be honest, there is no certain episode that I really want to recommend, but they can make every episode equally fun and interesting in their own way. I think people who listen to our podcast are all interested in language so I am sure you can enjoy that podcast, too.
However, as they frequently use difficult words, it could be challenging for Japanese learners. So, those who think it’s challenging to understand by just listening should watch the same episodes with Japanese captions on their YouTube channel. It may be easier for you to understand.
